US terms of use
These terms cover the GERZMO US early-access pages (gerzmo.netlify.app/us/) and the early-access list. They add US terms to the global terms of use. Please read them before you join.
1. Who we are

2. Early access only
GERZMO US is in early access. Right now you can join a list to hear about GERZMO in the US. Every use is not switched on yet: there are no US bookings, trips or payments, and nothing you do on these pages books or reserves a car. A use will start only once a GERZMO insurance partner is confirmed and the other requirements on the US home page are in place. We don't promise that GERZMO will launch in any particular place or by any particular date.
3. What GERZMO is, and isn't
- GERZMO is a global platform where owners register a car for use and choose what it can be used for: food pickup, passenger trips, or sharing with another driver. Owners approve every request.
- GERZMO is not a rental car company. It doesn't own the cars that are registered.
- In the US, every use is not switched on yet. GERZMO doesn't currently arrange rides, deliveries or car sharing. Food pickup would need a Texas delivery network company permit (TDLR), passenger trips a Texas rideshare (TNC) permit, driverless use for a business Texas DMV authorization, and car sharing must follow Business & Commerce Code chapter 113. Each use is switched on only once those and the right insurance are in place.
- GERZMO is not an investment, and doesn't promise any income or earnings.
4. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to join the early-access list, and the information you give us must be accurate and your own. When a use is switched on, drivers will also need a valid driver's license and may need to meet other requirements, for example a minimum age set by the insurance partner. Those will be set out before any booking can be made.
5. Fees
Joining the early-access list is free. GERZMO currently takes 0% and charges no listing fee. If that ever changes, we'll say so clearly before any fee applies.
6. No affiliation with Tesla
GERZMO is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Robotaxi and Cybercab are Tesla services. Tesla, Robotaxi and Cybercab are trademarks of Tesla, Inc., and GERZMO uses them only to describe Tesla's own cars and services. GERZMO can't add any car to Tesla's network, and the optional "interested if Tesla ever opens its network to owners" question on the sign-up form isn't a promise that this will happen.
7. Using the site
Please don't misuse the site. For example, don't sign up other people without their permission, submit false or automated sign-ups, try to get around our security or rate limits, or interfere with the site's operation. We may remove any sign-up that breaks these terms. You can leave the list at any time by contacting us.
8. Our content
The GERZMO name, logo and site content belong to GERZMO or its licensors. Other trademarks belong to their owners.
9. Information on the site
Information on these pages, including about insurance, taxes and Texas rules, is general information, not legal, tax or insurance advice. To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GERZMO and Gersmo Automobile won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the early-access pages or list. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the early-access pages or list is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable US federal law.
12. Privacy
Our US privacy notice and global privacy policy explain how we handle the information you give us, including that it may be processed outside your country.
13. Changes to these terms
Before trips or payments start, we'll publish updated terms and show the new date at the top of this page.
